The GMES and Africa Project on Coastal Areas Management in western Africa focuses on delivering 5 EO services on coastal environment and fisheries:

a). Provision of potential fishing zone charts overlaid with vessel traffic,

b). Monitoring and forecasting oceanography variables,

c). Forecast of ocean conditions disseminated as SMS alerts,

d). Generate coastal vulnerability indices, and

e). Mapping of coastal habitats
